CodecInstaller Windows is a software that detects which Audio & Video codecs are installed on your system and suggest you install those needed to view the film, it is distributed with: in fact it is designed to be burned onto a CD with a compressed video, to be able to play them.
Users who receive the CD, with only one tool with a simple and intuitive interface, can check if the codecs are already installed and updated and a simple click can install those required.
Who distributes videos on CD may include the software to be sure who see the video, will have all the codecs installed.
CodecInstaller can also be used only for the complete list of installed codec and detailed information on them.
Since version 1.3, contains a MovieLauncher that displays information about the distributed video file (author, plot, director …)
Since version 1.4 can analyze AVI files. It detects: width / height and ratio, length, video codec, images, size, bitrate, total frames.
Requires: Microsoft. NET Framework 2.0.
